Upon removing the o/s headlight today, I discovered a nasty patch of corrosion on the chassis/inner wing underneath.
Given its proximity to the suspension turret it will definitely be an MOT fail in the autumn. I'm told it's a known weak spot on the K12. Strangely though, the floor pan and sills etc are excellent.
Is this a doable repair, or is it a can of worms when you get Into it? Thing is, the car only cost £450, so expensive welding hardly seems worth it.
Anyone else dealt with this issue?
