Good Afternoon,
I have a Nissan Micra 2004 K12.
I booked a service via click mechanic, and they did the job few days ago.
After the service was done, I checked the car, and it was idling at 2000 rpm, but they said it would go down.
As soon as they left, I revved the engine, and then it started to stall. Then every time you start it, it stalled.
They came back straight away and have apparently fixed the issue. I was told that it was air getting in to the intake due to poor rubber rings, and that was disrupted during the service.....they apparently aligned it again. The mechanic showed me the photo of the rings in question and shared with me the fault code: p0113 & p0107.
Anyway, car been starting and idling fine, but there is now a rattling sound when stationary: I checked via OBD and same code as above appeared: they did assure me the codes were deleted.
Obviously, I will go back to that mechanic and demand this to be fixed, but am wondering what the issue is?
Have googled the codes, and likely MAP sensor/other issues, but this happened after the service, so could they have damaged something?
Your help much appreciated.
Tom
