When i brought my k&n induction kit bout a year ago i swear it said clean after 5,000 miles or something like that!Ive lost the booklet so just wondering if any1 has cleaned there's.If so can you tell me the best way, cheers Ben

i think its around the 20 to 30 thousand mile mark for the cleaning and a 1 million mile warrany on them

Just clean it in water, washing all the muck out. Then lubricate it in K&N oil....but not too much oil as this can damage it.

Think thats how its supposed 2 be done anyways.

Buy the K&N kit, it has the proper cleaning fluid and the oil. Im pretty sure its 30000, they say the dirt helps the way its works, so if its only 5000 since you brought it don't bother for the moment

considering how dusty it's been over the past few months give it a clean.

I clean mine once a year at service (normally 9-10k) and I always use the K&N recharge kit - best thing for it :D
