Choke Issue on K12 Micra

Hi everyone

I am a bit vexed by how the choke works on these new cars. I have taken SU carbs apart and understand how those work but not these modern fuel injected jobs!

My wifes Micra starts when cold OK- but at lights it stalls as if the choke is not working properly.

When warmed up its OK.

Does the ECU gets the engine temp from a sensor to operate the "choke"?

If so where is this sensor... or could this be a problem with the throttle body?

If anybody could help me I would be most grateful

the old girl has done 115000 miles (not the wife!) and has been fine up to now.

Kind Regards

Sorry Frank I have been out of the country. Its a 1 litre K12.

Is there 2 sensors- one that powers the light on the dash and one for the ECU?

Regards
