Cheap and easy degreasing

Hi guys anyone with some cheap and cheerful degreasing tips?

I've don't the petrol baths etc but have read a few ideas such as parts washed with dishwasher tablets and also the oven cleaner bags?

A little concerned if these would cause damage to the surface of the gudgeon pin.

Any first hand experience would be awesome

GUNK, TFR?

TFR Chris used on my engine bay and it ended up gleaming, all grease, oil and grime just fell off.

+1 for TFR, used it at work on the old bikes we picked up from the refuse centers.

Crap just flew off em haha
