Changing the Gear Stick

Ok, so Ive manage to break mine, and its in desperate need of replacement. I have the spare, but what is involved in replacing it?

I am under the impression that,

Remove lower cat heat sheild. Which will open up the section with the lower part of the gear stick, with the spring. Is it a matter of just removing the bolt and pulling out? or is it connected via the cockpit side?

Many Thanks to anyone who can shed some light, ive searched arround on here for the guide, but they all seem to not actually show the removal of the stick.

Once that bracket is off and all those screws are removed, it's pulled out from underneath.
