Changing stereo k11 with nats

Hi I’m a newbie to micras I just brought my dad a k11 1.0 3dr it has the cats immobiliser.
Can I change the car stereo without it messing up the immobiliser?
Sorry for asking what seems to be a dumb question but I can’t find the answer on line.
Can anyone help with this one?
P.S I need to fit the new stereo Friday am
