Hello,
my girlfriend asked me to do some basic maintenance on her beloved Micra. Changing oil, air filter, swearing at the dipstick, etc. was easy. However, the easiest task of them all - changing the cabin filter - became quite the pain. After disassembling the glove box, I should be able to pull the filter out. At least that is what I've seen in every single "how to" tutorial I could find. The issue is that the filter seems to have some extra cover on it (see picture). Ive tried to take the cover off but it seems like I would have to take half of the car apart as it holds something else then just all the visible screws and the clap on the picture.
I dont think it should be this difficult to change the cabin filter so I think I am doing something wrong. Do you know if the filter is located somewhere else in this model (Micra 2003 K12 1.2) or how can I get to the filter?
