Cga3de - cam sensor type and wiring?

Hi does anyone know if the k11 Cga3de cam sensor is hall or reluctor? So does it need power, earth and signal or is it the pos and beg plus a shield wire?

Even better is there a photo of the wiring or a wiring diagram for the sensor?

I need it for an aftermarket ecu install

Kind Regards
Rob

You can see the bottom plug (the one that has 321) has a black rectangle (above number 2) indicating the locking tab on the sensor plug side.
On the schematic shows straight 12V from battery.
Those 4-5V are output voltage on pin 44 or middle pin 2 (Signal)
So you should be good wiring it at 12V. I think those 12v are for the primary coil, however the secondary coil or sensing unit, due to losses and transformation ratio only gets a 4-5V pulse signal when excited by the trigger wheel.

Seems that the Crank senor is a bit different, this looks like it needs 5V as both pins go to ECU. Probably a 5V source as this is only possible by a voltage regulator/divider inside the ecu. Only way to really know would be to either find pins 16,43 function or to plug power to the ecu and check pin 16 voltage.
  • 1: Vcc (This one may be 5V as the output ranges from 1-2V )
  • 2: Probably sensor output (Pin 43)
  • 3: Ground/Shielding

Since I've got you here, I might as well shoot my shot.

Do you have the same pinouts for the Coils? I am building it out now and want to make sure I've got my voltages and pinouts correct.
