CGA3 Piston wanted

Does any one have 1 knocking around i have split one in half.

i have i or 2 paul , how did you split it ?

I was having some machining done and when they pressed the conrod off it split in half, which could have explained some of the smoking issue. How much would you like for the piston lol, i've got the others back so will have to put them on my press and have a go. Just thought it'd be easier for me - how wrong was I lol

£10 ok dude ? and i have a press that pushes against the rod and not the piston if you need it paul (the coilpack pistons are oval skirted, and cant be pressed against eh)

Sounds about right Paul. We got ours out ok but getting the pins back in was a PITA. Thankfully Frank has a tool to cater for this, it seems a lot of shops are not used to them

Although it's not impossible to do, I am very glad to have fully floating gudgeon pins in this build.

Sounds good to me frank, are you able to post i'll pay the extra no probs. It'll probably be best if i attempt to remove the other pins if i can't i may well come to collect it lol
