Cg10 CG13 gearbox similarites?

I saw this diagrame searching for a final drive

My question is is the cg10-cg13 gearbox similar with the same bellhousing? The CG13 could use the gear ratios of the cg10 gearbox to great effect i feel if this is possible.

MY apologies, i should have just searched.

So the pre 1998 does not fit but the post 1998 does. Would the post 1998 cg10 gearbox fit in the pre 1998 cg13?

All the gearboxes will fit. Its just a matter of getting the correct mount(s), driveshafts, flywheel and clutches.

I doubt any of the internals would be compatible or interchangeable either. They are completely different series of gearsets (41a vs 30a).

There probably wont be any 1L gearboxes in australia though.

yeah the cg10de would have to be imported but would provide quite interesting results if it could match with our cg13

final drive is slightly improved and ontop every gear ratio apart from revers is shortend

It will bolt up to the engine.

As I said you'll just need to get the right mounts, flywheel, clutch and I just remembered that the gear shifter linkages also need to be from a 1.0L micra.

I think Nismo make an LSD for the RS5F41A too?

Hmmmmmm Found out Mulholland makes a 4.4 final gear, only that its discontinued
