Hi has anyone removed the center of the steering wheel where the air bag is located? Going to wrap it and would like some knowledge thanks.

1st Micraversary!
Disconnect the battery negative lead and go and have a cup of tea before working on the airbag system. There are two plastic clips on the centre of the wheel at 4 and 8 o'clock, prise these out and you have access to the two big torx bolts that hold the airbag unit in. There's an electrical connector to pull apart and out comes the airbag - I think!

Yeah I know the obvious with airbag units seen so many go off in work with me and I always tell'em haha
