Car seat covers - OK for air bags?

Are there seat covers that are safe to use?
The air bags need to come out through the material, some seat covers have slits at the side, are these sufficient to not restrict air bag deployment?

Or should the seat me left without a cover for the air bags to work?

With the power a bag deploys it rips the seat stitching so a thin Extra seat cover Wouldn’t stop it working.

Most seat covers are airbag compatible nowadays.
They usually have a tag on them with air bag written on it.
I'm sure the ones I have are really cheap. Yet they have this feature. Even if they didn't an airbag would certainly rip them without a doubt.
Its worth checking if they have the feature though.
My covers do but the seats don't have airbags installed.
