Car not the same in 4th and 5th

just regarding my turbo micra, when driving it along 1st/2nd and 3rd gear seem to rev and boost well but 4th and 5th dont. it feels like its cutting back somewhat so if anyone can help me as i need to get the car 80 miles from where it is and doing 50-60mph is unsafe.

could you explain more what you mean by 'cutting back'?

I drive at between 50 and 60 mph all of the time, 56 mph on the motorway with the lorries, what's unsafe about it? or do you mean you may damage your engine because it isn't set-up properly?

Well I'm not happy at sitting in 3rd gear at 50mph over 80 miles and in 4th because it's doing these cut backs. I've read the ecu could be trying to make changes to the higher gears as the car is under mire load. I took off the actuator from the wastegate and drove the car with no boost but again in 4th it's doing the same. Apart from that I've not tried anything else but plan to swap fuel pumps back to standard and that's about it lol
