When i steer round a corner or especially if i do a u turn the car makes a slight knocking noise from the steering/suspension i think . Has anyone any idea what the problem might be ?? M reg micra

it could be the cv joint? is it coming from both sides or just the one side?
not sure, think its one, but it could be both. will check later
is the cv joint a big job to fix, or expensive at a garage to get done?

Could be track rods as mine have gone gettin replaced, jack ya car up and just see if it wobbles and makes the noise your hearing then it could be them, or wher the track rods go onto the hub just use fist and bang it and can hear noise then, I could hear on both sides of mine and was track rods
