car is down on power

got a 2002 micra 1.0 it starts and drives fine but when you put the foot down it dosent pull away and has trouble going up hills and is not as nippy as it should be. the car revs fine when its parked up and when your driving it and will get to motorway speeds eventuly. ive changed the air, fuel filters and put a set of bosch super 4 plugs into it but still not right it feels like its a fueling or air problem like its being starved of one of them

anyone got any ideas?

Throttle body is often faulty, doea the car stutter or hesitate?

when you put the foot down it hesitates but feels like it want to go bet somethings holding it back if that makes sence seems to be worse in 3rd wont go above 30 up a hill

Check the actually HT leads themselves, on my old matiz one was brittle and broken so it was running on 2 cylinders

its the coil pack engine so no leads

ahh didn't see the 2002.

as huggy said TB could be at fault as its common fault

what is it that goes wrong with them? normaly i would say that its the maf sensor causing this but dont know where it is on this car

MAF meter is in the throttle body iirc, sometimes the TB needs to be re soldered... There's a guide on google

Does that still apply for the coilpack TBs?

Uhm can't say for sure, I have a dodgy TB lying around I mean to resolder though, see if it works

Coilpack models maf is in the throttle body but can be removes and changed it cant be resoldered

if its the maf, they usually drive far better if you disconnect it

only had the car a couple of weeks so dont know if anything had been changed goint to swap out the maf and see what happens
