Cant turn heater off - at all

Hi guys, sorry to ask a question on a first post, but was looking for some insight

I've read all the heater resistor card threads, but none of them match my symptom, so wonder if it's the same fault

Basically, the blower in my 1 litre shape is stuck on full power. No matter what position I put the knob in, even if its in the off position.

Anyone recognize this issue? Is there an electrical switch behind the knob, or is it a mechanic device?

The dial is a switch 4 way switch. Maybe your dial is turning but the switch isn't (and stuck on 4)

The resistor is bypassed on 4 but maybe worth removing to eliminate. The blower should then only work on position 4.
