Hi All,

One of the first things I noticed on my car that didn't work properly was the bonnet catch. I would pull the level but heard no releace noise and than went round the front of car to find that I would have to pull it again just to release the lock then put my hand in to move the level to lift the bonnet. Can I oil this cable instead of replacing it or is it avalible to buy new instead of S/H.?

release mechanism at end of the cable can adjusted. might help.
grease up touching parts ?

Sounds like it has just gone a bit dry at the release end, as Reg said, give it a good spray of WD40 and then grease it up.
