Hi, any of you guys ever considered dropping a CA18ET engine into a micra? Im sure it can be done, im sure it has already. It would be VERY torquey!! 1.8 Turbo 8V engine :devil:
The CA18ET is an Iron block so its smaller than a CA16 for a start, weighs just slightly more (5kg i think).
As stock: 135 BHP and BUNDLES of low down and mid range tourqe. Add a decent sized intercooler from scrappies, straight through back box, aftermarket filter, colder plugs, wind the boost up to about 12psi and your lookin at around 180BHP, which is way too much for a micra, so you can imagine how cheap it would be to get the power you want?

theres a bluebird turbo in my local scrappers if anyone wants a go

I've seen two at Bridge's before, but they'd already been raped for parts by other people. Problem with them being, they aren't very common.
