brake upgrade

i driving a march 97
jus wan to check with u guys if the pulsar gtir brake is it direct bolt on?
i running on 14 inch enkei rp02 rims
will i need to upgrade my rims to 15 inch?

No, 14 should be fine, you will need a spacer, 2mm I think to get the pads to clear the disk

no you need to different hubs to fit sunny/almera/micra calipers.
when you get the brakes ask for micra hubs aswell, and they will bolt on ok then.

hmmm wat do u mean by micra hub?
care to eleborate which part is it?

2day jus went to try the caliper n the rotor
upon taking out
only realised the knunkle is different
it will not bolt on directly
the hole for the screw is different
mine measure 10 cm long while the gtir brake caliper measure 13 cm long
any idea wat happening?
i driving pre facelift modal with a small brake in front
n i had upgrade to a bigger rotor n caliper supposingly from a facelift modal march last time

march uses differnt brakes to a micra k11, it uses micra k10 beakes and hubs. you need the big bracket type thing that connects to the suspension. this will allow other calipers to just bolt on. then just need a few spacers/washers to get gap for disk right.

You can use a K11 one, or swap the hub frm a K11, quickdraw has done this so there should be a guide, search for something like "K11 hubs on K10"

MArchs have K10 front brakes, apparently, so you need to swap over K11 Micra bits for the K10 stuff you have on already as you have slightly smaller brakes then European Micras

that guy called and charged me $60 to fix them extractors.
so its $55 + $60. is it worth it ? says his workshop charges $30 for one car... :down:

any idea wat the size of rotor n caliper for s13 ?
i may drop the idea of fixing a pulsar gtir rotor n caliper
compared to stock 2000 micra brake disc
wat the size different?
is there any different btw the piston size?

I doubt s13 bits will fit, that will be excessive overkill anyway, I think that Pulsar disks are 4cm larger in diameter, about 280mm IIRC

my frez he goin to sell mi a pair of s13 brake caliper wif rotor
from wat i can see it slightly bigger than the stock 2000 micra brake
not yet measure
but sure is direct bolt on cos my knukle is 10 cm apart
will try and post feedback once install
