Brake pad problem?

my micra has std size discs but they are vented, im not sure if you can use std calipers with vented discs? anyway when reversing it sounds as though the pads are moving about, i have had the wheel off and cant see any obvious problems do micra's usually have retaining clips fitted? i cant see any on mine. It is fine moving forward just when going back.

Some micras have vented discs as standard, check pad thickness may need replacing, if the pad retaining clips/pins are missing i would think the pads would have fallen out.
