Hi folks posting on behalf of my mother who sadly does not have access to a computer, she's having a couple of issues with her car (Y reg Micra 1.0 litre auto 5 door).
first off she had her windscreen replaced middle of last year and has had both problems since then and only decided to tell me today and i cant find the cause of the faults although i beleive they are linked.
1st. All the instrument dials do not work, the lights and dash lights all come on however none of the needles move and the odometer doesnt work nor the radio but fuse for both are fine.
2nd. The brake lights are stuck on. The sensor appears fine as when you press the peddle the the lights which are already on get brighter so im assuming the sensor is stopping the power somehow.
Can anyone shed some light on this and i apologise to mods if i've posted in the wrong area feel free to move it to the right area.
