Use the plug and you have a removable shelf
But the car I want to put the shelf in doesn't have a female adaptor plug.. It's only got two spades on each side

Sorted it, there simple plug n play ones. found the female socket behind the carpet by the drivers side rear light Still im going to take the nissan original speakers and fit them into my black parcel shelf in my car.
