boot light switch

anyone know how easy is it to fit a boot light switch? ive had the tailgate replaced by previous owner. i still have the interior boot light compartment. so was wondering to get it working?.......

Just a case of replacing the boot catch mechanism in the tailgate with one that has the boot light switch (small latch of metal on the boot catch) and wiring/ connector.
