hello every one any one ever have a problem with their micra blowing a fuse that controls the engine ,i have red lights on the dash and starter turns over but it wont start. the fuse is located under the steering wheel beside the bonnet release.i have put in a 30 amp but this has blown also. its a 94 model
UPDATE 30-10-06
i have narrowed down the problem to the fuel pump in the petrol tank. i disconected the electrical wires and put in a new fuse and every thing ok.but when i conect up the wires it blows the fuse.so i removed the fuel pump and wired it direct to the battery and it worked and ran ok.so i put it back in the fuel tank and it is working fine and the car is starting and runing again so i think the pump has a flat spot and when it stops at this point it shorts out .so i will replace the pump just to be sure.
i will keep you updated on this.
is this problem common on the micra?
