Blending in spraying

Ok, i want to debadge my bonnet, meaning there'll be holes left.. which obviously need spraying.

Rather than spray the whole bonnet I'd like to just spray the front section, where the filler shall be.

Question is, How do i go about blending in the new paint to the existing paint? Will it not be really obvious?

need a good paint match and then some bodyshop rubbing mix.

i know the 'good paint match' is probably easier said then done but thats why working on bodywork is so much fun! fwn

Best thing to do is get a professional to do it, it's very hard to match to existing paint work

i would say keep the badge for the exact same reasons or get a new bonnet without a badge lol

get a smart repair person to do it for you,

that way you dont need a full respray, the repairer will be able to match the paint to perfect match, and it will be cheaper to get done overall

maybe the holes will let more air in for the filter..
