you would need to advance your timing to get the most from it. I think your money would be better spent on more permenant modifications. I have found Optimax to work well as the occaisional treat.

i some time use octane booster in my 200sx combined with optymax you do notice a difrence

You will notice improved octane more with modern turbo cars as often the ecu will auto advance, and octane is more important with higher temps associated with turbo cars.
