Best Tyres? Is There Such A Thing?

Ok Heres The Plan Have 13" Steelies standard old things but need some tyres soon so can anyone recommend the best seen some yokohoma's and continental roughly the same price and pros v cons, £5 difference each though!

so anyone have a favourite tyre brand doesnt matter what size either! fwn

i used to run avons cr322

and currently running yoko a-drive 175/70/13.

i recommend the avons over the yoko cos they lasted 23k for over 2yrs (yokos have reached 3/4 its life after 5k in 6mths), similar or slightly better grip and is only £20 more a set.

Yokohoma parada spec 2'a all the way, I've not owned a set of these but I've drove a friends car with them and they just grip like dried sh't on a blanket so will be getting me some of them (Y)

But you carnt go wrong with the toyo proxys

Well my car uses Toyo CF1s which are fantastic, never fail to grip and still have plenty of life after a year and 11,000km!

I've heard T1Rs are good MihtyMicra, but I've never used them myself!

T1rs are amazing, Ive had 3 sets of them now, id recomend them to anyone.

But would say the parada spec 2's are fare better than the t1's altogether

The spec 2's are really good tyres aswell my best mate ran them on his valver and there really good, But my bias is still with toyo.

ok im torn between Toyo 350's and Yokohama A.drive's as they are both fairly cheap in 155/70/13
however in 175/50/13 they go from £24 to £62! ah well im sure ill sort it out!

i only use £5 partworns (self fit/balance) because i get through a pair of fronts every 6 months
