Beeping sound in reverse

When I put my automatic Pao in reverse the car makes a beeping noise. It seems to come from the dash. Does anyone else's Pao have this feature? How do I disable it? It's tremendously irritating.

Hi guys. Mine does the same thing. What's the point really ? It can't be heard outside of the car. My Be-1 does not have a reverse beeper, but both cars beep at just a little over 100 km h. Mark

Ours does too. There is a box under the driver dash where the beep is coming from...however...my wife actually likes it so we kept it. We think it's hilarious.
So, not sure how to disable it, but I'm sure it's a simple speaker you could disconnect.
You have to really crawl upside down to find it.
