i've never had to check this before, just wondering how it's done. i know how to check the ignition timing, just not sure if it needs setting/checking in a 'base mode'. i have access to a laptop with the datascan software if this helps me at all.
also, i know the base timing needs to be 15 degrees btdc, but it says +-2 degrees in haynes manual, i've heard the sr20 engines run better at 17 degrees btdc, just wondering if it's the same for the cg13. or should i stick with the 15 btdc
