Ball joint removal, refitting

Evening guys, I know it can be done and I have seen the pictures but after hours of pressing, hammering, chipping with the chisel I carnt seem to budge the old ball joints!

Any tips from anyone?

I'm keen to keep the original nissan wishbones and get them welded up

Il have to borrow a bigger socket I recon iv been faffing with scraps of metal as iv not got one big enough to go over the bottom of the joint
