Automatic starter, any difference?

Hi all,

The starter appears to be toast on the K11 CVT Micra that I've bought for my uncle.

Before I shell out for a reman unit, does anyone know if the starter is the same on both the manual and automatic models? It's a 1996 1.0 if it makes any difference.

the auto one is under the inlet mani iirc (same as the coilpack one maybe ?)

Yes, I haven't got a manual version to compare it with, but it looks to be in more or less the same place?
