Hello everyone - I hope all of you are fine!
Could anyone of you please let me know if the Automatic Gearbox oil and the Differential oil are the same in a Nissan March 1997? The reason I ask, a few days back, I had to change the CV Joints in my Nissan March and to do so, both the front axles had to be removed so a few cups of Diff. oil fell out into the pan kept there to catch the oil.
After completeing the job, when I checked gearbox oil level via the dipstick before replacing the fallen oil, I found the the level to be the same. I have already cleaned the dipstick a number of time before checking the level and it remains the same - how is this possible? Oil did fall out.
