Another stereo question!

have replaced the old sony cd player with another better sony, however it is 2nd hand an used 2 have an amp connected, i am not fitting my amp at the moment, thats gone, so wot do i do with the small remote cable from the headunit? do i jus cut it an put some insulating tape around it? i don't want any fires or whatever!

yeh just cut it and wrap it with a bit of electrical tape. its low voltage and if it does short the fuse will blow before any fires happen.
