my insurance is due soonish and my GF is about to pass her test.

GF 24 Female no NCB no driving experience

Step Dad, 42 Male 10 years NCB 20 years driving exp
Quote with me GF and dad £468
Quote with me and step dad £398
Mum: 45 Female No NCB 20 years driving exp
quote with me GF and mum £430
quote with me and mum £330.
All qoute are having myself as main driver and GF/Dad/Mum as a second driver
WTF is up with those prices??? how can they justify charging twice the price to have me on my own as apposed to having my mum on the insurance?
