You can get those lights from rally design, and they're fairly pricey too

yeah i looked into it once - i think they wanted £250 just for the pods not inc the lamps.

good point. surely he could spend 5mins wiring it up just to demsotrate it works etc. those lights coast over £400 from demon tweeks.
