Annoying upgrades HELP

Hey Boys and GIRLS back on the site after ages!

Just wondering how to go about getting a rear wiper fitted to one that doesn't have one also is it possible to switch the wiper stalk so i can have an intermitent wipe!!!

Does any one have any idea how to get a door back on properly, i have one K10 and the door is dropping loads and my pride and joy could do wit a snugger fit!!!

Any help would be appreciated!!!

My door didnt fit properley, i just bent it to get a tighter seal when closed.

I think you either need to replace the door pins with thicker ones if they are worn (easy) or re drill the wholes in the actual door if that is what is worn (hard).

im going to do the rear wiper mod on my 1.0LS shortly, you need the hatch with wiper, button on dash, and all wiring relays etc. washer bottle.

havent thought about it properly though, going ot be a bit of a mission

best off finding a donor micra down the scrapper and get all rear washer loom


ill keep you posted when i do mine


also going ot intermittent fronts, cant be that hard that one, relay

Sweet keep me POSTED!!! Do you reckon i'd be able to fit it to my boot lid, bit hard to find another in my colour!!!!!

Doors:

Both of my doors have also dropped! and I'm planning to sort mine eventually aswell.

The recommended method is to remove the front wing(s) and loosen the hinge bolts that fix the hinge into the chassis...then lift the door to the correct height (or a tiny smidgen higher) and then tighten the bolts back to the recommended torque with the door in the lifted (original) position.

I’m lucky because my wings are bolted on and I've just had new wings fitted, so there's no big risk of bolts snapping for me....but if your wings are welded on or they have been bolted on for a WHILE then it could be more work than worth.

I have to admit I went straight for the pin approach at first, but it seems that the door and the hinge are at one with each-other (couldn’t see an easy way of getting the pin out or a new one in securely)
