Annoying issue - headlight-still-on bleeper.

Hi all,

Bit of a trivial issue really, but it nearly caught me out once or twice - luckily my neighbour knocked on my door to let me know, saving me a flat battery.

When I get out of my car, the warning bleeper which alerts me to the headlights being on has stopped working. It works occasionally, but generally no longer works. Has anybody had this issue, rectified this issue, or knows if it's relatively straight forward to fix?

It's doing my head in.

Speaking from memory right now but i think the buzzer only activates when the door is opened, so maybe is your switch on the door frame that might be broken.
From some schematics looks like it needs the switch closed to get a ground.

Same here, my 2000 K11 is the newest car I've owned in 27 years of driving, but once in a blue moon I simply forget.
