Amplifier configuration

Just wondering what is the best way to configure my amp, i have crossover and gains for the front speaker and wondered should i set it to all pass or what cutoff. And the same thing for the rear crossover thats connected to the subwoofer. Gains is more down to personnal preference is it?

The gain is NOT personal preference, its NOT a volume control either. You need to match the gain to the output voltage of your headunit.

As far as crossovers go, set the fronts to around 80Hz HPF (high pass filter), so that they play upwards from 80Hz. Set the rears (sub) to 80Hz LPF (low pass filter) so that it plays 80Hz and below.

well i have 4v output so what should i set the gain to then?

It will never reach 4v on its output, but set your amp to around 1/3 gain
