Alternator woes K12 Diesel SE

Third problem in a month. Boot lock and EGR Valve being the other two.

Driving last night, got on the motorway slip road and pressed the A/C button. I now have "charge warning" on the display and battery light permanently on. Looking like a fo oked alternator.
This car is beginning to annoy me and its costing more and more.

Car is a 54 plate Diesel SE with 37K. Anyone had to replace the alternator on such a low mileage one? What prices am I looking at.

I know exactly what you mean I have spent way over 2k on my micra and have just had to pay for a new starter motor, as it's decided to pack in! So far ive had to have new injectors, egr valve, alternator, starter motor the list goes on! I got my alternator for £120 plus £50 fitting.
