Alligning track rods

If you do not have a laser alignment tool what is the best way to try and allign these?

i was joking but im guessing you can get it not too bad from the eye, string might be a shout. but whats up with them?? steering wheel off when the wheels are straight? or are they just pointing the wrong way

Pay someone else to do it, laser tools are £300

i do it with string to get it near enough and then take it to the local garage who laser alignes it for £15.

Just doesn't feel quite right

take it to be done, only around £20 and will save your tyres in the long run.
