Alarm door switch

Does the Micra Vibe 1997 need a positive door switch wire or negative?
Also which wire is what?
Theres 3 wires on the door switch
Red and white (i think this is the permament live)
Red and (another colour, can't remember)
Green
Need to know so i can connect a wire from a Rclick alarm system

to be honest im not sure as i fitted central locking to my car myself, it had 2 wires specifically for the alarm, i'd try each of the wires that come off the motor. how many wires have you got?

The interior light switch has 3 wires (see above)
the alarm has 2 wires a negative switch wire and apositive switch wire.
Just wondering do i need both wires or just one.

The alarm works with the central locking ok though.

sorry i just realised your on about the door light switches. im not sure cause i didnt have to wire it in their, try wiring it to the interior lamp because that is where a few alarms sense the voltage off of
