airbag renewal

airbag check lights are coming part of the mot in april2012 and i have perchased a newer micra 2000/2003 model s
but i did not notice on perchase it had the wrong s/wheel on there for no airbag as connectors were wrong ..i bought a correct wheel airbag and module and all wires matched up and also changed the psnger seatbelt as it was not retracting bought a new one that inertias , connected all wires up so i thought then check light would be on ? but nothing there still , checked fuses and bulbs !! what am i doing wrong ??

its ok i installed a full airbag kit all inc seatbelts steering a/bag squib and module ....some dumnut had forced a screwdriver in the dashclocks and forced the airbag led bulb of the circuit board as its not a standard bulb , tamperproof ...the lengths people willl go to hide a flashing warning light !!
