Airbag light flashing

Hi there,

my folks are having trouble with their K12. As per the subject, the airbag light has started flashing regularly and constantly. The same thing happened a last June and it was done foc under warranty. My questions are:

1. Does anyone know what the problem could be and can it be fixed without going to the dealer?

2. As the Nissan dealership carried out a repair under warranty in June, is this repair still covered, even though the warranty on the car itself expired in January? (Assuming it turns out to be the same problem)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

could be the same problem we get with the renaults. Either airbag pretensioners under the seats or the actual wiring connectors - they overheat and create too much resistance. Common problems with the clios, and since nissan are part renault it could be a coincedence??!

Speak to the dealer first and explain that it was already supposedly repaired by them. :glare:

i have the same prob with my fiat the airbag light keeps comming on even tho i have had fiat checked it
