Airbag Light Flashing

Heyy

I removed the old steering wheel inc. the airbag to put on the new sports steering wheel

Now the airbag light is flashing in the dash

How can I get rid of this?

take your dials out and tape over the light or take the bulb out not a hard job mate

no way to going into the diagnostic mode to remove it?

it will just turn the light off or you could try a resistor on the wire to fool it making it think the air bag is still there

it will come back on after about 5 mins or so

ah right, how easy is it to remove the front to take out the bulb?

easy mate 4 screws then unplug the plugs then its just clips to prise apart

Mine's come on as well and i'm not started modding it yet, just moved the seat back so i could get a look at my digital dial wiring see if there was a faulty wire (it keeps flickering), could get to it, so just left it, drove into town and on the way back noticed the airbag light was flashing and hasn't stopped since. does anyone know anyway to reset it or stop it from flashing as it's really annoying.
