Just bought a new Mann air filter from ECP and noticed that it was about 3mm taller than the old Mann filter.
When you put the lid back on the airbox, it is making contact with the filter, which I think would reduce airflow. Also, as the lid is pressing down slightly on one edge of the filter, it could cause the opposite edge to lift up and not make a good seal.
Anyone else bought a filter recently and noticed this?
Most of the online parts websites are recommending the same filter for a K11 - Mann part number C1618 - and the other filter options given are also the same height (34mm).
However, I noticed the NAPA air filter recommended for the K11 was 31mm high. This is the same size as my old Mann filter bought a few years back.
