air conditioning

hi

ive just found out that my air conditioning is leaking bottom right on the radiator part where the kind of mesh stuff is. i poured water to find out where the leak was so does anybody know if i need a replacement radiator part or can the wire mesh stuff be fixed or mended so that is doesnt spew out harmful gases?

so the only way to fix this is to replace it? i find this hard to believe!

anybody else outhere that can suggest any other means before i refer to ebay?

The rad is called a condenser. As far as I know they are not repairable.
I asked my local aircon man if they had the old ones repaired when I had one replaced in my Primera.
He said it couldn't be done.

A quick google gives prices of £75 - £100 for the condenser.
I am not sure if is possible to fit yourself or if it is a specialised job. I believe Kwik Fit are currently doing a regas for £25 due to the time of year.
