Air con hot and cold, please help.

Hi all, I run a 2008 Micra Acenta, I've had it since February and just turned the manual aircon on for the first time last week and the passenger side was nice and cool but the drivers very warm. Any ideas on how to fix this would be gratefully received. I should say I am not a great DIY mechanic but can stretch to services etc.

could be an air valve mix actuator or sticking flaps, I cannot tell from your description if the air con is manual control or climate control (Automatic) which if it is the latter is controlled its soley by it's own circuitry?

Thanks for you reply, sorry should have said its just standard manual air con, not climate control.
