Aerials. How are they fitted?

Heya.

I have a face lift with the aerial in the middle of the roof at the rear.

The rubber part has perished and I want to replace it, how are they fitted? Is it a bolt inside the car?

It is indeed fitted with a bolt, and you have to take the roof liner off at the back to get to it. Just take off the 2 plastic side panels in front of the tailgate, next to where the passengers heads would be, and then take off the metal/plastic bar that goes along the roof, then the roof liner should drop enough to allow you to get to the bolt.
