Evening. Help please. When recently brushing snow off the roof the aerial snapped. It snapped in the mounting, not on the easily replaceable bit that screws in! Ordered new mounting today and dealer said it was an easy job and you just "need to pop out internal roof light, release screw, remove old mounting and screw on new one". I dont think so! Took out light and there is no sign anywhere of the mounting, its much further forward. Is there anyway of replacing from above or am I going to have to remove roof lining?

Im sure you can remove the roof lining in one corner only to gain access to the underside of the mount.

The dealer is maybe thinking of the aerials on a facelift micra where it is at the back behind the roof light.
